A group of our Year 6 pupils recently had the opportunity to work with pupils and staff from our Trust's community of schools on an exciting writing enrichment project. Staff from across the Staploe Education Trust have planned the writing enrichment project for the most able pupils in Year 6. The first of three planned sessions took place at Soham Village College on the morning of Monday 6 March. During the session, pupils enjoyed engaging with Year 11 students and members of the College's English Department. Our pupils produced high-quality written pieces inspired by The Mystery of Harris Burdick. At the end of the session, the pupils felt very proud of themselves; the quality of writing on show - notably vocabulary choices - was exceptional.
The pupils also had the chance to visit the College's library, and as part of the project were able to borrow a book until their next visit to the College.
A huge well done to all involved
